How BrightToolkit handles the text you enter and your visit to this website.

Last updated: November 2, 2026

Your editor text

Word counting, text cleaning, and case conversion run locally in your browser. This version of BrightToolkit does not send the text you enter to our servers or to an external text-processing service.

The tools do not store your draft in cookies, local storage, or an account. Refreshing, navigating away from the tool page, or closing it will clear the editor. Your browser may have its own form-recovery features.

Clipboard access

When you select Copy text, the website asks your browser to write the current editor text to your clipboard. It does not read your clipboard automatically. Other applications or browser extensions may have their own clipboard access; BrightToolkit cannot control them.

Hosting and access logs

The hosting provider may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, and timestamps. The statement that your text stays in your browser refers to the editor content, not to all technical data associated with visiting a website.

If you are viewing an access-restricted preview, the hosting provider may require sign-in and use its own authentication cookies. Those features are separate from the text tools.

Analytics and advertisements

This version includes no third-party advertising scripts or analytics trackers. The area labeled Advertisement is reserved layout space and does not load an ad. If advertising or analytics is added, this notice and any required privacy choices will be updated before those services are enabled.

External links and changes

Other websites you choose to visit have their own privacy practices. This notice describes the current version of BrightToolkit and may change when features are added. The update date above identifies the current notice.
